I am trying to seek justice against my abuser from abroad

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I genuinely need some guidance and support. I’m currently living outside the country. A man assaulted and harassed me for around three years. There are already two r@pe cases against him in Pune involving other women. After everything I went through, I got married three years later, hoping that I could finally move forward and start a peaceful life. But the trauma and the situation have continued to affect me, and I now feel that I need to take the appropriate legal steps. Since I’m currently outside India, I’m looking for guidance from lawyers, women’s rights organizations, or anyone who has experience helping survivors pursue legal action from abroad. **If any lawyer is willing to take the lead on this matter and help me understand the legal process and pursue the case appropriately, it would mean a lot—not just to me, but potentially to many other women who may have gone through similar experiences with this person. I genuinely be...

Why do some women act like revolutionaries after making bad choices

M28, I have a doubt. There may be plenty of [fake IDs] in this group, including people pretending to be girls. Whenever someone posts something under a boy’s name, they are quick to abuse or attack him. But when it comes to some disgusting posts made by girls, most of them don’t even react. If you question them, they start talking like feminists. Honestly, I feel many of them are just fake feminists. Also, I have seen some girls, at a very young age, during their college days or when they have just started working, get financially cheated by men and lose their vrgnty as well. After a few months, the two of them break up. Immediately, those girls start acting as if they are Mother Teresa or women who have come to change society. I have seen such things at my workplace, among my neighbours, relatives, in this group, and even in society. These girls talk as if they are extremely intelligent, but why don’t they choose a genuinely good guy in the first place? They lose their money...

A lazy summer afternoon in my college dorm turned into a nightmare

A bizarre event that happened to me When I was in my final year of college, I went through a truly bizarre experience. It all happened one lethargic summer afternoon in the student dormitory where I lived. While I was lying on my stomach in bed, recovering from a party the night before, a girl—who had also attended the party—sat on my lower back and began to massage my upper back. During the massage, I bent my legs at the knees and playfully patted her back with the soles of my bare feet, as if I were massaging her in return. She chuckled, finding it amusing. It was a comfortable, easygoing moment. However, while I was patting her, I felt her necklace with my toes. She had turned the necklace around to her back while massaging me so that it wouldn't get in the way. The necklace had a small medallion that I inadvertently tangled between my third and fourth toes, along with a few strands of her long hair, which was tied in a ponytail. A mischievous impulse took hold of me. I held o...

At twenty eight I worry I will never find genuine love

2 mins read, looking for suggestions/advice. I am 28M, a mechanical engineer, CTC 13 LPA (Idk if all this is important )and honestly I do not know what I am supposed to do anymore. I am writing this because I have been feeling pretty lost and sad about my situation lately. I did not really have a relationship during college. I studied in a different state, and the language and cultural difference made things more difficult. By the time college was over, I had basically never had a proper relationship. Then work started, and life just kept moving. I am currently working in another city, away from my family. I live by myself, manage everything on my own, and most of my life revolves around work. I meet people, but I do not really meet many people in a situation where a relationship can naturally develop. And now I am 28. I know 28 is not old. I know people will tell me that I still have plenty of time. But when you are actually living it, it feels different. Peop...

I feel like I am failing everyone in my life right now

36F | Life Struggle and resilience I don't know how to tell my life story in just a few lines, and I don't really have anyone I can ask for advice. So I'm sharing it here, hoping someone might help me. I come from a dysfunctional family. My father is a good man, but he struggled with anxiety and depression throughout my childhood and was emotionally unavailable. My mother was loving, but she was overwhelmed with household responsibilities, so I often felt emotionally alone. At 18, I fell in love with a man, and we were together for seven years. One day, he ended our relationship, saying his family would never accept me because of caste differences. Around that time, I had once run away from home, and my family blamed him, which caused serious conflict between both families. I couldn't cope with the breakup and attempted to end my life by taking sleeping pills, but my family saved me. Soon after, he got married. I left my hometown and started working in another city. While trying t...

My body has been exhausted for five years and nobody knows why

Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I’m feeling lost and hoping someone may have gone through something similar. I’m a 36-year-old woman working in IT. Before June 2021, I was an extremely active person. I could walk 2–3 hours every day, work long office hours, travel frequently, cook all the meals, clean the house, wash utensils even at midnight, and still wake up the next day with plenty of energy. I maintained my home without any help and genuinely enjoyed being active. Everything changed after I got COVID in June 2021. I recovered at home, but I never recovered my energy. It started as fatigue, and I kept believing it would get better. Instead, over the last five years, my life has slowly changed. First, I stopped going for walks because I didn’t have the stamina. Then I stopped cleaning the house. Then I stopped cooking regularly. Today, my husband does almost all the household chores and takes care of our 1-year-old daughter because my body simply doe...

My neighbor is being forced out by our city's IT boom

27M This is not about me or my package. But about one of my neighbour who is a workshop carpenter and mostly about society. I live in east hyderabad. He has stayed with us for 35 years even before i was born and built good portion of my house. He is being forcibly vacated by circumstances and I feel sad . I say forcibly not voluntarily because it's not his fault he cannot educate his three kids. His wife also works as tailor. What happened is during covid end around early 2021, many folks from all over India as well as telugu nri return started buying properties here or settling in rented properties due to IT boom and low cost of rent. This was earlier an industrial area for people of backward and daily wage class folks who did mostly labour jobs and was same like UP Bihar till 2005. Till 2020 it was fine because no large scale migrants from outside state came here but there was growth as locals got it jobs in it industry. The school fees has soared due to...

📌 Update – Confession #C27762 Many of you read my confession and shared your opinions. I wanted to give a final update—not to change anyone's opinion, but because the story didn't end where my confession ended. After my confession, some of my questions were answered. Some weren't. She clarified a few things I had wanted to know, and I respected her answers. But one thing never became clear. After my final goodbye, instead of disappearing completely, she herself contacted me again and continued updating me about important moments in her life. At the same time, she never clearly told me where I actually stood in her life. That is the part I still don't understand. I'm not saying it means she loved me. I'm not saying it means she didn't. I'm simply saying I never received an answer to the one question that mattered most to me. Today, I've decided not to ask that question anymore. Sometimes not every story ends with complete clarity. So I have chosen to let this chapter rest...

31/M, I graduated with a B.E. in 2016, but because of backlogs, I completed my degree only by the end of 2018. I started preparing for government exams in 2019. Since then, I've attempted almost everything—Bank exams, SSC, TNPSC, and more. The hardest part to admit is that I wasn't consistent or serious enough with my preparation for a long time. At the same time, I was also struggling with my mental health, which made it even harder to stay focused and disciplined. Before I realized it, one year became another, and nearly a decade has gone by. Today, I'm 31 with no job, still preparing for SSC CGL, and I honestly don't know where my life is headed. I feel like I've lost my most valuable years chasing a dream without achieving the result I hoped for. I feel stuck, directionless, and overwhelmed. Watching my peers build careers and move forward while I'm still preparing has been incredibly difficult. I often wonder if I've made the biggest mistake of my life by putting all my t...

The World I Imagined As A Girl Is Gone

Following the page from months, read ton of posts and comments, I never comment or share anything. I see, read, jugde inside sometimes and forget it later. One thing I love is people being honest with their post, another thing is most people are very shallow. And maybe because this page belongs to highly upper class people, who is notably stressing on how much money they make or justifying on their cheating habit in relationships . Very few post has meaning or seem to have real person. People love to follow trends so much that they have lost what a man and a woman used to be back in past. Integrity, ethics, softness, modesty, nothing is left. Maybe being in this timeline I'm also one of you, without authenticity. It is scaring me that world i assumed as a little girl, so simple yet happy, isn't there anymore. PS: One wish I want for you all is to have a beautiful life as you imagined once and also have a kind heart to understand empathy for a better world.
