Confessions about crushes, relationships, heartbreak, and late-night feelings.
27, F, Kolkata I know this is a long shot and might seem a bit silly, but I’m looking for someone I saw on the DN 2/1 bus on Monday, 27th July. You had somewhat long hair and got off at TCS Gitanjali around 2:30 PM. We definitely made eye contact, so if you happen to see this and remember me, please leave a "care" reaction or drop a "hi" in the comments!
Read Full confession →I m 23 yr old girl who grew up terrified of ppl around her , I never had friendships, relationship, love. Before even entering my adulthood i survived trauma that left deep scars both on my mind and skin. For years, I lived as a complete introvert, keeping my walls high and letting nobody in.Then, life dealt another way My mother diagnosed with cancer. My days began revolving around hospitals. It was exhausting, terrifying, and deeply lonely. But amid that nightmare ,destiny brought me into contact with a radiologist -a quiet, mid height man, in his mid30s man who always wore a mask. He did my multiple ultrasounds and for the first time in my entire lyf , I felt completely, unconditionally safe around a man. He didn't know about my story. He didn't know that about the blade marks or the fear I carried. He was just doing his job.But he did it with such a gentle , pure soul that he didn't need to say much for me to feel his kindness.Exactly a year ago, on 21 july , he stepped into the ro...
Read Full confession →I wanted to confess this for a long time. I never had the courage to say it directly, but now that this has an anonymous feature, I finally feel like I can let these words out, not because I expect anything from you, but because some feelings stay with us until we finally give them a voice. I don’t know if you’ll ever know this is from me, and maybe that is okay. Maybe these words are too late. Maybe they should have spoken when I still had your hand in mine and the chance to tell you everything. But I need you to know. I still remember that night. The way you looked at me under the quiet glow of the streetlights. The way the world felt smaller because it was just you and me. It was 1:58 in the morning, and I remember thinking I wanted that moment to last forever. You whispered that you loved me, and I believed you. Those words stayed with me long after everything changed. I wish I had told you more. I wish I had told you how much your smile changed my worst days, how your voice cou...

He's a doctor preparing for medical PG, so his life is extremely demanding and unpredictable. We met about a year ago and gradually became very close. From the beginning, we've both known that we don't have a conventional future together. That's not because he doesn't want one. It's because of personal circumstances on my side that have made me decide I don't want to marry anyone. He knows those reasons, has accepted them, and we've both made peace with the fact that "forever" isn't something we'll have. So I'm not waiting for a proposal or hoping he'll suddenly commit. My question isn't about why he won't marry me. Over the past year, he's told me that he wants me in his life, that I'm very important to him, and that if those practical constraints didn't exist, I would've been someone he could genuinely see a future with. We haven't built our relationship aroun...
Read Full confession →I don't know if I'm wrong for finally choosing myself, so I'm writing this here. I was in a relationship for 13 years. We met in college, and despite everything, I stayed loyal throughout. There was even a time when I was cheated by him one-time but I forgave because I believed love deserved another chance. For almost 12 years, my partner struggled financially. I stood by him through it all—emotionally, financially, and mentally. I never made him feel like he was fighting alone. I believed that one day things would get better, and we'd build a life together. But over the last two years, I started feeling emotionally exhausted. I needed time, support, understanding, and reassurance. Every time I expressed my feelings, there was always another reason or family problem by his side. I kept waiting, hoping that one day my needs would matter too. When marriage became part of the conversation, I thought things would finally change. Instead, whenever I asked practical questions abo...
Read Full confession →I've read so many confessions here, and finally, I decided to write my own. This is going to be a bit long. Please don't insult or judge me. 🙏🏻 In 2025, during the final year of my Master's, I got introduced to a girl through one of my female friends. She was my friend's college friend. Within a few days of getting to know each other, we became quite close. She told me that she had broken up with her boyfriend of six years just a month earlier. Then, in January 2025, we got into a relationship. As time passed, our bond became deeper, and we grew emotionally and physically close. We were physically intimate four times. However, our mutual friend couldn't accept our relationship. She informed the girl's ex about everything. His ego was badly hurt. He was a very toxic and aggressive person. He re-entered her life and started mentally and physically abusing her. Since they lived in the same neighborhood, they saw each other almost every day, whereas I lived farther away. When...
Read Full confession →Everyone keeps telling me, "Past is past." But I genuinely can't think that way. For me, the past isn't just history. It reflects how someone judged people, chose partners, and what qualities they valued while making those decisions. My girlfriend had a relationship and a situtionship before me. What I struggle with isn't that she had a past it's who she willingly chose. She knowingly accepted someone who drank, smoked, slept with multiple girls, ditched her, came back, and still saw him as "husband material." When I asked why, she simply said he was kind, funny, and that those other things "didn't affect her," so she never cared about them. He barely even cared or gave her any attention but still I she was obsessed with him. That's what completely shattered my respect. Those "other things" are exactly what I believe define someone's character. And she victimizes herself and blames the guy for being like that telling that, she thought her love would fix him. And if he realized she t...
Read Full confession →Need Suggestions! I'm a 30-year-old guy from South Tamil Nadu. Back in 2018, I proposed to a girl who is my friend's sister as well as a distant relative. She informed my friend, which created a huge issue. He confronted me and shouted at me in the middle of the road. I lost a five-year friendship because of that incident. Feeling guilty, I distanced myself from all my friends. Only one person knew the entire story. In 2024, my father passed away. During the funeral, all of my friends came to pay their respects. After that, I slowly started talking to my friend again. His sister also talks to me in a friendly manner now, as if she has moved on from the past. Even today, whenever I text her, I make sure to be polite and respectful. Three months ago, I invited my friend and his family to my sister's wedding. Everyone attended except her. Recently, she asked me, "When are you getting married?" I told her that I had spent a lot on my sister's wedding and wanted to clear thos...
