After consulting multiple doctors they have been advised that he may need a Cochlear implant after he turns 1 year old if his health and hemoglobin levels are suitable. The parents have normal hearing and speech but the baby's maternal grandmother was born with hearing and speech loss so doctors suspect it may be genetic. They have already consulted a hospital in Chennai but before making such an important decision they want to hear from people with real experience and medical professionals. They are even willing to travel abroad if there is a better proven treatment available.
