I am trying to seek justice against my abuser from abroad

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I genuinely need some guidance and support. I’m currently living outside the country. A man assaulted and harassed me for around three years. There are already two r@pe cases against him in Pune involving other women. After everything I went through, I got married three years later, hoping that I could finally move forward and start a peaceful life. But the trauma and the situation have continued to affect me, and I now feel that I need to take the appropriate legal steps. Since I’m currently outside India, I’m looking for guidance from lawyers, women’s rights organizations, or anyone who has experience helping survivors pursue legal action from abroad. **If any lawyer is willing to take the lead on this matter and help me understand the legal process and pursue the case appropriately, it would mean a lot—not just to me, but potentially to many other women who may have gone through similar experiences with this person. I genuinely believe that if someone is willing to stand up and take this forward through the proper legal channels, it could help protect other women as well. If you can help or know a reliable lawyer in Pune who may be willing to assist, please DM me. I would be extremely grateful.

Join PULA Support group on Facebook. It's ONLY women's group. You can post and reply anonymously. So if there is someone who had gone through it then they will be more open there than here.

Against whom you want action? The man you left behind ? How is that relevant now? Yes trauma is fine, but how will you prove old Case? Think twice because the women ngo advocates will just increase your trauma by taking fee etc ans making you run behind police and courts and doing nothing .. In end you will end with zero -!: trauma will increase.. pathetic judiciary we already know.. I am not saying dont go ahead… but Think..
