Wanna share whats happening in my life. 37 F. faced many abuses from my dad as I was born as daughter. He had not spent a single amount for my school fees and higher studies, he always used to cal me bit--.. in tamil. Had a younger sister aged 35 not married and not working also but studied professional course in Finance. My family had not seen alliances to me, daily scolding that I was liability to family. My dad always said to me that better to ran away with any boy so that marriage expenses would save to him. He had loved my sister as she looked like my dad’s sister. My sister had full domination in the home, she got everything she wanted and enjoy a best life. While I go by walk to school, she was travelled by van. My sister said the same dialogue to ran away from home daily. I used to work for a small couple of months in a company, there I saw a man same aged and love each other. He knew all personal matters about me and ready to marry me. But he belonged to lower caste. I said to my dad, he said better u marry, ill inform all relatives that my daughter ran away with lower caste boy. I had done registered marriage simply. After that many fight arised and my dad separated me from him. My husband went to foreign to earn and called me, my dad not allowed. He daily abused me, I donknw aht to do. To shar with heavy heart, I had not even eat fully three times in my life. He daily get into fight with me. He used new word to call me “Rasikettava”. My sis also used same words. Suddenly after 4 months of my marriage, my dad went to walk and come back home, he suddenly died of heart attack. We all collapsed. After his rituals, I came to know that for all bank deposits and others, my dad put his brother and his wife name as nominee. His office friends had close touch with them and my periappa got all money to his and his wife name. while I found out and asked, he said ur dad even not believe u, get lost. No amount in bank balance. From then, I got a job in large corporate with low pay to run family. From then, my sis instead of blaming my dad, she called me bit----,,, rasikettava,,,…. I simply worked on.. my husband came permanently after one year. My sis directly along with my dad’s family not allowed me to live with my husband. Huge fight went on… my mom was speechless. She not even allow me to stay with my husband. With heavy tears, I am writing --- im still virg---n and my husband is also waiting for me. My sis is not getting married, she is eating with my dad’s pension and simply sitting. She is using the words …--“ cant u live without ..x?, ne oru rasikettava, bi---.” She is saying daily that due to my raasi, my dad died, so asked me to die or to go out so that lorry can rool over me. She is very beautiful bu till not not marrying. I cant get out from home, all my relatives said that if I begin to live, my mom would get killed. I seeked help from all relatives, all said that my sister is small girl and asked to divorce my husband and to lead single life, then only my dad will get moksha. I am writing with tears, god also not helped me. She said that no baby should born to me then only my dad will be satisfied…… cant write more..thinking of committing su---…my mom also cant help. My sis is living best life in my home and enjoying by putting reels. Can anyone help in this regard…. pls
This situation highlights a profound tension between individual autonomy and intense familial and cultural pressures. The writer faces a complex dynamic where her family—specifically her sister and extended relatives—utilize cultural concepts such as astrology, caste boundaries, and spiritual duty to enforce her separation from her husband. This creates a painful division: the writer is financially supporting a household that simultaneously ostracizes and blames her for family misfortunes, including her father's passing. The competing perspectives here involve a rigid adherence to family-dictated roles versus the pursuit of personal safety, marital companionship, and emotional well-being. Relatives view her compliance and potential divorce as a necessary spiritual action for her deceased father, while the writer seeks to escape ongoing verbal abuse and claim the life she built with her husband. The emotional weight of this isolation, coupled with threats regarding her mother's safety, has placed immense psychological strain on the writer. Given the severe emotional distress and thoughts of self-harm expressed in this account, prioritizing personal safety and mental well-being is paramount. For anyone experiencing domestic abuse, extreme isolation, or thoughts of self-harm, seeking immediate support from local emergency services, crisis hotlines, or professional mental health resources is a critical first step. Navigating such deeply entrenched family dynamics requires external, objective support structures to ensure physical and emotional safety.

Now you are adult please take your decision by yourself Be brave and live with your husband, don’t think about your sister and your family Has they ever stand by you ? Or will they ever support you ? Talk to your husband and move with him , live together with your husband and make yourself in peace !! One more things please go as far as you can from your sister and your other family members if you want peace in your life !!!
Be little selfish ly then u can survive..Don’t always think about everybody..
When ur husband is with you, what r u waiting for?? Just move away with him. If u want to help them financially then help but don’t stay with them. God helps those who help themselves. You have to take your own decision, no one will come to rescue.
The way these people are treating you is not okay, and you shouldn’t have to tolerate it. Don't tolerate abuse from anyone. It’s time to get strong and stand up for yourself. Please talk to your husband about this. Consider living separately for your peace and safety.
This is a very toxic and emotionally abusive environment. Your sister is an adult, and her choices are not your responsibility. You do not need to carry guilt or sacrifice your marriage because of what others say. Please value yourself, stand up for your life, and go live with your husband if that is what you both want. You deserve happiness, love, and a peaceful life.
U hav a husband. Go wit him n live a life. Dnt thi k abt family relatives n ur deceased father moksha.. dat all is myth. Njoy ur maritial life n stay away from ur sister. Let her eat , live , die. N more over nobody wil kill ur mom. Dat is all nonsense. To stop u. Dey r doing dramas. Ur sis is 35. Nt a small girl now. So com out of dis delusion. Wen ur dad was alive he dint respect or value u. Now aftr his death he can get moksha only thru u?? Wat logic is dis?
A family who always curse u Or A person who support u? If I am in ur place then I will cut all connection wid family and go wid that man who still wait u, don't think about society and family, they didnot support u in past then why u r still confused? Make sure that guy is a good person and support u all life, if ur answer is yes then don't wait and don't listen any curse for u. One main thing, when u will have ur own baby then u will know that people r waste of time 😄
