I feel inferior and jealous because my partner earns so much more

33 M here. Trichy I want to vent here. I am so stuck in life. I do a job but it is a waste for me as I don't see any future in it. To make matters worse my partner who I live with makes so much more than me & even having visible salary increase(quite a lot again) on top of this in the near future. I feel so jealous of her, like why I am left behind in life while she is getting all the money. For me it feels like the universe is hell bent on keeping me pushed where I am and what money I am getting. That's such an inferior and disgusting feeling. Why is this happening. Just wish someone could tell when I will be equal to her. Sometimes I feel like leaving and only come back when I am atleast bigger than her.

Bro, your partner is your teammate, not your competitor. 😂 Instead of leaving until you earn more than her, work on your career while celebrating her success. Life isn’t a salary competition, and your worth isn’t your CTC. 💯

When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears. There are people who are jobless, shelterless, foodless and so on.

Hello brother.. I can understand your pain…this feeling is quite normal between couples. Here u haven’t specified if she is your wife / live - in partner. Upgrade your skills and Change your job which pays off well as per your experience and skillset. You can discuss this with your partner to support you in finding a suitable job. Don’t get stuck in life and waste your time in a job that you don’t like or see a future. Good Luck!
