Why am I struggling to find a match on matrimonial sites

Hi, I’m a 30-year-old guy working in a non-IT field and earning a decent salary of around ₹70K per month. I also have rental income of ₹12K per month and around ₹20K per month from FD interest and other sources. I don’t have any loans or financial commitments. Still, I’m struggling to find an alliance. I honestly don’t understand what these girls are expecting or what they think about me. I’m registered on several matrimonial sites. Sometimes, they view my profile and call me themselves. When I respond and show interest, suddenly they hide their profile or stop responding. People always say, “Good people don’t get good partners,” and sometimes it really feels that way. I keep reading so many confessions about problems after marriage—MIL issues, husband problems, family problems, etc. But where are all the girls who genuinely want a good relationship? I really don’t know whether girls are actually choosing someone based on their character and compatibility, or whether they are mainly looking at appearance, salary, status, and other expectations. I would say I’m reasonably good-looking. I have a little tummy, but I’m not chubby or extremely overweight. Still, some people call me a “gundu paiyan.” 😅 I’m genuinely asking—does having a little tummy mean a guy shouldn’t get married? Do girls expect men to have a perfect body? Or is this kind of experience common for everyone? Sometimes I wonder if this is happening only to me, or if a lot of people are going through the same thing.

Bro..there are genuine people on matrimonial apps too..also just don’t depend only on matrimonial apps.. Tell your parents, relatives/ elders in the family to find alliance.keep your expectations minimum.girls in the rural areas are more than happy to find a boy like you.. keep trying..all the best!
