During this mass lay off, it is easier to stay relevant and update skills than managing a wife who doesn't understand the market dynamics. Im having more than 15 yrs of experience and really scared of the situations. One or other day the juniors were let go coz their contribution isnt significant. Im able to survive only for the reason of working in more than one project, taking ownership, driving a few initiatives. Im spending nearly 12 hours everyday for office task and having a back pain as well. Here comes my wife who isn't bothered about anything, not having ability to go for job but judges evrything and expect a life of princess. Wants to go everyday or weekend out , trip. Sometimes I feel marriage is a curse for anyone who wants to do something great.

Stop the maid and cook. This might give her some work at home instead of sitting on the sofa and giving instructions.

This is nowadays proving to be true in most cases, new age wisdom , it was never like that in earlier generations πŸ‘‡ ""Sometimes I feel marriage is a curse for anyone who wants to do something great""

I’m sorry it’s important to get an understanding partner however in your older age you wouldn’t wish you had worked even harder. Make memories and try to balance. working 12 hours a day that’s crazy although I know everyone’s circumstances at are different try to have a work life balance.

Tell her u r fired and on notice period/,gareden period for 3 months, u have to find another job in 3 months and continue to go to office. Tell her that u r not clearing any interviews because ubr over qualified and ask her to go to job and attend interview. Introduction budget reduction and reduce all unwanted costs. Stay in office for 16 hours 12+ 2 hours gym...... repair ur back and get strong, keep updating u r skills and be ready for everything, invite the colleagues who got recently fired to u r home and trigger a discussion Abt how difficult life is........

You should have known whom you are marrying and your expectations from each other should match... Reason why discussing finance before marriage is so important cozz there are women who are working hard and doing savings, spending for families

Bro there is nothing wrong in chilling on the weekend and you need it! You are not a machine to work 12 hours a day! You will get all kinds of health issues and your company will replace you immediately without a second thought so don't fight with ur wife for the sake of an uncaring company who clearly doesn't give a crap about its employees and their health

Did you reached to the concerned department with your complaint- your mommy, daddy, that astrologer who certified all Virtues aligned and ready to get mingle ? Or may be even your wife’s parents who took guarantee that their daughter is as innocent as cow πŸ„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The boys who are looking for an aspiration career must not choose immature girl for marriage either beautiful or ugly .. Their Immaturity and kiddi behaviour will cost you much more than your life.. Just go on shopping with them once before marriage you will definately able to decide you should marry her or not..

Make sure you have a backup plan. Unless you're an elite professional, you'll be shown the door soon. It is what it is.

After November 2027 these packages in IT will be 1/3 of present salaries and it will remain same for next 50 yrs. Fiat dollar supply is over. People in ac room will get less salary then people's in field area.

Why don't you people discuss these things before marriage! Why did you marry unemployed unsupportive woman in the first place? Life is difficult these days as it is.

Tell her your company is considering firing you because you aren't available on weekends and say you're saving for the imminent hard times. See her reaction. If she still persists, fire her, I mean divorce her.
