26M | 4.5 YOE | 22 LPA I'm currently working as a Software Engineer with around 4.5 years of experience. My background is primarily in Full Stack Development, and I've recently been working with AI-related technologies as well. I'm currently in a fully remote role. One of my long-term goals is to work abroad for a few years. I understand that the global hiring market is not at its strongest right now, especially for visa-sponsored roles, so I'm trying to be realistic about my expectations. I'm not specifically targeting the US. I'm more interested in opportunities in: - Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, etc.) - Singapore - Australia - New Zealand - Other countries that are open to hiring international software engineers My main question is: How do people from India successfully transition into overseas software engineering roles? Job hunting within the local market is relatively straightforward, but I'm not sure how to approach international opportunities. I'd love to understand: - Which countries are currently hiring foreign software engineers? - What platforms/job boards are most effective for international roles? - How important is DSA vs. system design vs. domain expertise? - How does the interview process differ from Indian product companies? - How difficult is it to get visa sponsorship? - Any practical tips that helped you secure an offer abroad? If you're currently working overseas, or if you've successfully moved from India to another country through a software engineering role, I'd really appreciate hearing about your journey and any advice you can share. Thank you!

Apply for UN and affiliated jobs in places such as chk as worldbank etc. search Sebastian Rottmier jobs and apply for tech jobs in large non profits. Eventually move to Zurich with a job and live there forever.

You will not find anything. Only Usa used to have enough jobs in emerging tech before AI. Now they are replacing employees with AI agents. Rest of the developed nations only had demand for legacy tech stacks which was outsourced to Indian service companies . Now they are cutting back outsourcing and deploying AI agents. If you really want to go, go after 10yoe. Company will sponsor you.
