23F Lately I’ve been feeling really confused between finance and marketing, and because of that I’m also confused about what specialization I should choose in MBA. In finance, I struggle because I’m not someone who understands numerical concepts instantly — I need practice and time to finally get comfortable with sums, and sometimes that makes me doubt myself. But when I think about marketing, my mind immediately goes to sales targets, convincing customers, field work, constant interaction with people and pressure to achieve numbers. As an introvert, that honestly scares me. I feel stuck in between because I don’t fully connect with finance, but I’m also afraid that marketing is only about sales and target pressure. Maybe I still don’t completely understand these fields yet, but right now this confusion has been bothering me a lot. I would really appreciate some genuine suggestions or guidance regarding this.

Finance is more about Balance sheets But then it depends upon where would you like to see in Finance .. Being Financial analyst , Commodities , Institutional sales of Banking and insurance , Back office operation in Banking , Telecom or audit companies . Very tough job in lower jobs .. Comfortable salary but job hrs are worst one you get permanent.. Higher levels its more of leadership profile and people management and salary is awesome vive versa Marketing is good if You get product marketing or product economics ratther sales or you choose to take Advertisement agencies job specifically client servicing .. Horrible job in lower management ,be ready be become messenger , low salary and lot of work ... Promotions take a lot of time in marketing ..mostly people switch with a raise .. rest your destiny .
