Hi Everyone, I’m currently working as an AWS-Snowflake Data Engineer, and I’m looking for job opportunities in the U.K. However, I do not have a visa yet, and I’m unsure about the process of finding jobs that offer visa sponsorship. If I apply directly through LinkedIn or Indeed, will companies consider candidates who require visa sponsorship? How does the sponsorship process usually work for international applicants? I would really appreciate it if anyone could share guidance on the best way to secure a job with visa sponsorship in the U.K. Also, apart from LinkedIn and Indeed, are there any other websites or platforms that are helpful for finding sponsored roles? Thank you in advance for your suggestions and advice!

Firstly , Every large corporate will have sponsorship license. It’s just about the will to sponsor for multiple hesitations like Risk of application result, Reliability, cost, Paperwork. Willing to sponsor is a result of how desperately they are looking to fill the role and how long they have been waiting. With Ai making technical jobs a lot easier, we will see over the time the dependency of overseas skills will start to decline. That said, your options are- reach out to technical recruitment agents on Linked in and pitch for the lowest on the salary range mentioned, as a compensation for all the paperwork hassle. Negotiate and see if you can absorb the cost of sponsorship. Or alternatively take the student route (slow but easier).
