Someone is threatening to tell my husband about my teenage past - Confession #C27984 | Corporate Confessions

Someone is threatening to tell my husband about my teenage past

F28, I am married, and recently I started receiving unwanted Whatsapp messages from an unknown person. They claim they know about my past relationships and are threatening to tell my husband everything. The scariest part is that they know personal details that only a few people could know. I had relationships before marriage, and I am terrified that my past will destroy my marriage because i had s*x with some boys on teenage time. I got some money also. I ready to give the amount. Finally, I found out who was behind those messages. I had received some money from him earlier, and now I’m ready to return the entire amount. I know I cannot change my past, but I am scared of losing my husband because of it.

Editorial PerspectiveThe Corporate Confessions Editorial Team

The Price of Silence and the Illusion of Leverage

This situation highlights a high-stakes conflict between the desire to protect a marriage through concealment and the unpredictable nature of blackmail. The sender is treating this threat as a transactional problem with a financial solution—believing that returning the money received in the past will nullify the blackmailer's leverage and close the loop.

However, extortion rarely operates on the rules of fair exchange. While paying back the money feels like a logical way to settle a debt and buy back peace of mind, it simultaneously signals to the blackmailer that their threats are highly effective and that the secret is valuable enough to pay for.

This leaves the sender caught in a agonizing trade-off. Attempting to buy silence may offer temporary relief, but it relies entirely on the honor of someone who has already crossed ethical boundaries. The core tension is whether a secret can ever truly be neutralized through payment, or if the act of paying simply prolongs the vulnerability.

Things Worth Thinking About

  • Can a financial transaction ever truly guarantee the permanent silence of a blackmailer?
  • How does paying an extortionist shift the balance of power in a situation like this?
  • What are the risks of trying to resolve a threat privately versus preemptively telling a partner?

I wouldn't be happy if he reveals your truth, but this should be happened at any cost..... Your husband has right to know about your past before marriage, but you haven't told him (simply you cheated on him)

A lot of teenage wrong choices are made out of peer pressure & daredevilry. Tell the truth to your husband now. Ideally, You should have already told him everything before you got married. He will be upset, but he might still stand by you to help deal with the situation with the blackmailer.

You were a kid then, be honest to your husband, If he’s a good man he will go with you to police station to file complaint. Blackmail is a crime. You are the victim.

Your past does not give anyone the right to blackmail or threaten you. ❤️ Don’t keep paying just to make the threats stop—save all messages and evidence, block/report the person, and seek legal help if needed. Be honest with yourself and your husband, but remember: a mistake from your past doesn’t define who you are today.

1. The person doing this is liable for extortion 2. Your husband can either choose to accept it or create shindy and agree to pay alimony (As long as u haven't been cheating after marriage you should be fine) So Chill, Do not Respond and Get a VERY Good Lawyer. ATB.

What you did as a teenager you can't change it. What you can do now is- 1. Tell that person to stop threatening you. Don't pay any money. He is blackmailing you, and if you fall into his trap, there will be no way out. 2. it's better if you tell your husband yourself before he hears it from someone else. Yes it will be really difficult, but your silence will only give more power to your blackmailer.

What happened to you during teenage years? Why you had to enter into prostitution ☹️ Do not pay any money. Tell them to stop harassing you or you will file a police complaint against them for blackmail.

Bilkul dariea mat ...the more you show ki daar rahi hu utna darienge. Aaj 20 k mangenge kal 1 lakh nd it's going to be non ending. Better avoid any sort of conversation with anyone related to this. Better to confess on your own to your husband tell him someone is blackmailing you and wants money from you. He is the only one to save you. So surrender in front of him only.

Past ki wajah se amount kaise mila aapko ? Kya aapne apne ex ko blackmail karke paise ki demand ki ya fir ex ne cheezo ko court tak naa le jane ke liye khud se hi paise offer kiye ? Dono me difference hai.

You did fax and took money from the same person? Or were these two different people? Because if money was for fax then you can call yourself proud rmdi and your husband won't say anything.

Sympathy for the poor husband. Did you really not know that having relations, particularly physical relationships , eventually is going to cause issues in future ? Typical of women! No accountability.

So...you were a prostitute? Damn...

Anonymous27 August 2026 at 8:54 am

so you were a pr*stitute earlier and you didn't inform your husband? It was not a relationship between you and your ex boyfriend. It is beyond that. Better you come out and inform your husband and be ready to bear the consequences of your actions.

Everyone has a past life if anyone didn't then they probably are not straight. You don't have to feel insecure I suggest you be transparent and open up to your husband and let him know in advance rather than he be surprised. Because if you don't inform him of this incident even though it was in past he may not believe you. However said so he too would have had a past life and as teenagers we were all innocent when started to date unlike other who had ulterior motives. Don't be afraid be brave and confirmed if you chicken out he will suspect you of recent betrayal. Show him all the messages and Incase you want to return the cash use a legal document before notary and get him to acknowledge receipt otherwise he would still blackmail you. After the cash is returned turn the tables on himself you start to inform his friends of his character. This man is sick I don't how you even associated with him. Try to reason out the money you can say during the relationship you wanted cash and helped you otherwise people will judge you as a prostitute. Excuse my lingo but am damn annoyed with this guy. He needs a good plastering.
