But I would also take your anxiety seriously. Don't rely on "I cleared the interview, so I'll figure everything out somehow." A technical operations manager role can have significant responsibility, and pretending to know something you don't can eventually create problems for you and your team. The good news is that you don't need to become a ServiceNow expert overnight. Before joining, identify exactly what the role expects, ServiceNow modules, incident/change/problem management, ITIL processes, reporting, stakeholder management, team leadership, SLAs, etc. Then spend the next few weeks learning the fundamentals systematically. Once you join, find a strong technical person on the team who can help you understand the existing environment and processes. Also, improve the basic skills you've avoided for years, Excel, PowerPoint, documentation, communication and structured problem solving. These may actually matter more for an operations manager than being the person who writes the deepest technical code. Most importantly, don't let imposter syndrome convince you that you have nothing to offer. At the same time, don't let past luck become an excuse to remain unprepared. This opportunity can be the point where you deliberately build the skills you previously got away without developing. You have already cleared the interview. Now stop thinking about whether you "deserve" ₹36 LPA and start preparing to become the person who can justify it. Take it seriously, learn aggressively, ask questions, document everything and don't be afraid to say, I don't know yet, but I'll find out. Your 3 year old and family are reasons to build stability, not reasons to stay frozen by fear. You've got an opportunity. Use the anxiety as motivation to prepare, not as a prediction that you will fail.

Sorry to say this God (if exist) is cruel.. you should ask how I can improve my technical skill on service now, any certification, any online classes etc. one thing for sure ppl like this will survive and go up the ladder. Rather being anxious, put some effort. Good luck bro.

It's about luck, I have seen guys like this , they are very lucky to survive, and even decisions made by them becomes correct, so companies never bother.

Upgrade your skills slowly through Udemy online courses . And be prepared for future . There are many courses in that AI Advance excel Search for your profession related course too. If any doubt have a 1 to 1 frank chat with your manager ask him her what course would be better for you with respect to your current role in the company , do tell him her about Udemy websites.
