What should a mother do if her husband loves her but it’s a very gaslit, toxic and just a very blah relationship with him. In-laws are good. But staying in the city she’s in now doesn’t have job opportunities and frequent fights with the husband really upsets her. She’s now jobless and to look for a job another city- she’s worried how she’ll manage with 2 kids. She may not be able to afford maids So should she leave her kids with in-laws or take them with her but it could be detrimental for the kids sake OR just live with her situation

Don’t stay in a toxic relationship just because there are no easy alternatives. Your mental health matters, and so does your children’s emotional well-being. But don’t make a sudden decision without a plan. If the in-laws are supportive and trustworthy, they may be able to help temporarily while you look for work and arrange childcare. Start becoming financially independent step by step—job search, savings, childcare options, and a support system. Most importantly, don’t confuse “he loves me” with “this relationship is healthy.” Love should not come with constant gaslighting, fear, or emotional exhaustion. Take your time, plan carefully, and choose safety and stability for yourself and your kids.
This is such a tough situation. Please don't think you have to decide everything at once. Maybe try talking to a counselor and start exploring work-from-home or part-time options in your current city first. Your well-being matters as much as the kids'. Sending strength to you 🙏
Don’t make a rushed decision. ❤️ First secure financial independence, explore jobs and childcare options, and build a support system. If the relationship is toxic, staying “for the kids” isn’t always healthier than leaving. Children need a peaceful, emotionally safe parent more than a perfect family picture. Take one step at a time. 🌸
Take your time and find job in the same city. Jab paani sar se upar chala jaaye to sab chhod ke chali jaana
