I built a great career but fear rejection because of my balding

28, Male. I am a software engineer working in a good company. I have around 5 years of experience I am from Bihar. I am average looking, 5'6" tall, fit, and have a lean muscular body. The only issue is that I am balding. I have almost lost all my crown hair. I consulted doctors, but they said even a hair transplant may not cover the whole head. Also, hair transplant requires long-term medicines, which I want to avoid. My hair loss is genetic. Almost every male in my family becomes bald by the age of 30, but in my case it happened earlier. Maybe I should have taken better care of my hair, but because of work and travelling I never paid much attention to it. I worked hard in my career. In 2021 my salary was 2.8 LPA, and today it is around 38 LPA. Now my family has started looking for a bride, but I am worried that girls will reject me because I am bald. I don't want to fool or hide anything from anyone, that's why I never tried a hair patch. I want to be honest from the beginning. I especially want suggestions from girls. What should I do? Should I just wait for the right person who accepts me as I am, or should I try a hair patch or some other option? Please give your honest opinion.

If a girl rejects you just because you’re bald, she’s not the right person to marry. Don't feel guilty or hurt by such rejection. But first, you need to accept yourself as you are and build your confidence. The right person won’t care about your baldness. So wait for her. Stay positive.

Bro build a personality like jason Statham or vib Diesel by working out and flexing your body, you will still be attractive and find a lot of suitors. Never feel inferior with anything or with your personality. Keep going and be positive.

Just approach any girl the way you are. If she accepts you the way you are, it’s best possible outcome for you. If she does not, it’s okay. Not the end of the world. There are many other options. But don’t fake anything, it will cost you heavily in the future.

Materialistically you have had a solid career for your age. You have honesty and humility at least that's what you profess through your post. Many women would like this combo. Join personality development classes to gain confidence. Regarding Hair if you are not comfortable with transplant or patches, go completely bald look which looks great on certain square shaped faces and age will give you bulk personality as your BMR reduces.

Don't fear rejection, It's a great filtering process that helps you end up with the right person. And I'd strongly suggest working on your confidence and self esteem. Otherwise, you might end up accepting someone who makes you feel like they're doing you a favor by being with you. You don't want that. As for aesthetics, sometimes being bald looks better than balding. If you're comfortable with it, you could even shave your head like The Rock. It might even help you feel more confident.

Whatever it is...tell upfront to the girl whatever it is to avoid any future problems

Anonymous3 August 2026 at 3:53 pm

Problem is not the girl but you being not comfortable with yourself. If you're really worried you can wear hair patch. It doesn't come off and it's very harmless. And if done properly it looks very natural. If get a crew cut grow some facial hair to balance it out.

Search a girl yourself arranged marriage is very difficult your good nature quality all come second because one cannot read others inside mind and in the first time meet girls see outside beauty

As a woman, I feel it's a man's personality that matters the most. How well groomed you are, how you speak, behave and carry yourself. It's the confidence that matters. If you are tall, fit, well dressed, well groomed and carry yourself confidently that's more than enough. You don't need to worry about your baldness then. Also, pls don't lower your standards for the kind of woman you want just cos you feel yourself lacking in something that doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things. Good luck

First of all this dependency thing you need to get rid off like if you don't have hair you'll not find a girl, if suppose even after marriage you started having problems in married life, if you have any health problems in future without any bad habit, financial burden, sudden layoffs then what you'll do start blaming yourself again. Start loving yourself ASAP because no other will do it, if you have anything that needs to change then work on it. focus on your health, job, money and peace of mind. Please consult a psychologist before it's too late if this or any other thing bothers you so much.

Well, I have been there. So I can understand you. But believe me it's just your perception. People will see you the way you see yourself in the mirror. So own it , slay others by your confident. Connect if you need any kind of help. And girls don't give a damn about your hair. your personality (not only physique) is most important.
