Some people don't break your heart in a day. They break it over years. I was in college when I fell in love with someone older than me. He was my first love, my safe place, and the person I thought I would marry. He wanted us to marry early. I wanted to complete my education first. He wanted physical intimacy before marriage. I believed love could wait. Then one day, he moved to another city for work. The calls became fewer... then stopped completely. I spent countless nights crying, calling him over and over. One day, a woman answered his phone. I quietly walked away, believing he had chosen someone else. I survived somehow. I completed my studies. I learned to smile again. Years later, an email appeared in my inbox. "Hi... How have you been?" It was him. He said I had misunderstood everything. He said the woman was just a relative and that he wasn't married. Against my better judgment, I let him back into my life. We met. We laughed. We had coffee. For a moment, it felt like time had stood still. Then he asked for the one thing I had refused years ago. I looked at him and said, "Then marry me." He smiled... and said no. That was the moment I realized he wanted me in his life—but never as his wife. Soon after, I married someone my family chose. My husband isn't perfect. He isn't the most romantic man in the world. But he respects me, stands by me, and has never made me question my worth. My ex stayed in touch. I told him we could only remain friends. One day, he crossed the line. He suggested we could have a physical relationship even though we were both married. That day, I found out something else. He had lied to me all along. He already had a wife. He even had a little daughter. I blocked him forever. Years passed. During COVID, while I was pregnant with my second baby, he called. I saw his name. I rejected the call. Months later, after my son was born, I thought maybe enough time had passed. Maybe I could forgive. Maybe I could at least ask how life had treated him. I unblocked his number. His phone was switched off. Later, I learned he had died two months earlier. There was no last conversation. No apology. No closure. Today, my little son hugs me for no reason, brings me tiny flowers, kisses my forehead, and whispers, "I love you, Mama." Every single time... ...my eyes fill with tears. Not because I still love the man who broke me. But because I finally know what pure love feels like. The love I kept searching for in the wrong person... God placed in the tiny hands of my son. Maybe some people enter our lives to teach us what love is not. And maybe healing doesn't come from the person who broke your heart. Sometimes... it comes running toward you with tiny feet, open arms, and a flower picked from the garden.

It sounds like a beautiful ending, but it's actually a very unfair story. Finding pure love in your child is beautiful. But wanting to stay friends with a man you once loved, who turned out to be characterless, wanting to check on him even after blocking him, and now being heartbroken over his death, none of that is fair to your husband. You didn't cheat or pursue him, but holding on to those feelings is wrong too. Would you be okay if your husband felt the same way about another woman?
Girls can't let go of the past. They simply CAN'T. This is why - PAST MATTERS.
Can't stop thinking about your ex so you tried to reach out, huh?
What stays effortlessly is Dharma What needs attention is Karma!! Letting go off what isn't yours will make space for what u deserve ... This post felt personal ..😊😊
He didn't cross the line, you wanted him to do the same, sort of. Why meet your ex when he clearly has made his intentions in the past, why unblock his number, why dial him back? Because deep down you also wanted him back. I'll tell you one thing, if this concoted generic story of yours is true then you won't be able to forget him ever. There will be moments when you'll cry inconsolably.
He crossed the line. How easily you justified adultery and cheating. Ever felt guilt?
I wonder how the Story would have continued, if the Ex hadn't Died 🤔⁉️
How did the lier, cheater die? You loved the 'idea' of him. He never was like that idea. Movies like 'Bachna Ae Hasino' make girls think that men will 'sudharofy' when they truly, genuinely find love. That never happens....
Feeling sad for your hubby
So many senseless comments , wow Don't listen to anyone... You deserve what you got finally, pure heart was cheated upon, you are to be blamed for that too, Anyway ,finaly you understood the sanctity and elixir called love in your child, and others, and that odd old experience helped you definitely in realising how precious what you have is....it made it more precious and exclusive and gave it more wings....so the personal growth happened with bad experiences too, those who never try are any better? Who knows what works? Life can take you anywhere but eventually you get wht you deserve!....
People don't always heal overnight. Staying in touch with an ex wasn't the best decision, but it doesn't mean she was unfaithful. The story itself shows she set boundaries, rejected his inappropriate proposal, and eventually blocked him."
After getting married, u are still in touch with that person "remain friend" and you said earlier your husband isn't perfect 😅.... The entitlement of u guys, u guys think u deserve everything in this world. Isn't it?😂😂
I hope young women learn from your story & not get intimate in the name of feminism/ modernity .
Not every first love is meant to last—some people enter our lives to teach us what love isn't. In the end, your husband and children is the love and peace you truly deserved.
The only victim in all this sh#t is your husband, not you. You are just tied to ur child by ur hormones, emotionally still thinking of ur ex. Ek kaam karo apne bacche ka naam v ex ke naam pe rakh do 🥴🥴
