A Hidden Man Shattered My Arranged Marriage

I never imagined I would be writing a confession like this, but I don't know how to deal with what has happened. I got married four months ago through an arranged marriage. My wife is from a town near my hometown. Before marriage, we met several times, but she was always very quiet. I never really felt that connection or spark, but I believed relationships grow with time, so I gave my best. The first two months of our marriage were not very good. Things started improving recently, and I genuinely believed we were moving in the right direction. I started caring for her deeply and thought we were finally becoming comfortable with each other. Last Thursday, I left for a business trip and told her I would return on Sunday. However, I decided to surprise her by coming back on Friday night instead. After landing, I went straight home. When she saw me, instead of looking happy or excited, she suddenly became nervous. She didn't even want me to enter the house. I was drenched because it was raining and asked her to close the door, but she insisted on leaving it open and kept trying to hug me. I went to the bedroom to change my clothes, switched on the light, and found a man hiding in the corner of the room. At that moment, my world fell apart. Both of them immediately started explaining that he had come for some work and was about to leave. Later, she admitted she had called him. Now she is crying, apologizing, and begging me to give her one chance. She promises she will never contact him again. The hardest part is that I haven't told my parents the complete truth. They believe he may have only come because he performs religious rituals and that nothing inappropriate happened. I don't have the courage to tell them everything because I don't want to break their hearts. But keeping this inside is breaking me instead. I don't know whether people deserve a second chance in situations like this or whether trust, once shattered like this, can ever be rebuilt. Has anyone here faced something similar? If you were in my place, what would you do? Please be kind in the comments. I'm already carrying more pain than I can explain.

Oh bhai don't suffer from Messiah complex. Inform your parents, her parents, and send her wherever she wants to go, with that man or to her home. Jyada hero banne ke chakkar me kal ko vo dono milke tujhe nipta denge, fir tere case pe mai tujhe gali dunga then MRAs wale mujhe gali denge 🥴

Cheating is a choice, not mistake. Divorce and move on.

If you have self respect, leave her to that man and live peacefully. When the trust is broken, nothing is left to carry on.

Once you forgive her she won't change a bit in future for sure rather she starts doing the same thing with more precautions.!! Better you make her inform her parents and your family by herself. Record everything on papers, on vdo, written confession is must..

This doesn't even need a rethink in modern times...just immdtly leave her, but be carefull, don't announce or share what you intend to do, else you maybe in problems...just plan properly the divorce and do it in silence but meticulously

Divorce!! And guys, please start asking prospective brides these two questions BEFORE marriage 1. Do you love someone else? 2. Are you marrying me just because your parents are forcing you to?

You know why he was there and what they were doing, right? And you still want to continue this marriage believing she won't do it again? Why? Cheating isn't a small mistake, and you don't know what other skeletons she has in her closet. I actually feel really bad for you. No, trust doesn't magically rebuild after cheating. You'll never truly forget it. Muster up the courage to tell your parents and hers. Get a divorce and move on. A lot of people stay and regret it later. Don't be one of them.

Cheating is the greatest sin ..You caught your wife red handed..How can any person..forget the vows taken in marriage..Marriage is a divine bond built with trust and commitment towards each other.Being a married woman I am saying Never trust her..You went on a business trip and she brought a person home without informing you..and that person was hiding in the bedroom of a couple..No chances At all..
