IT Career Crisis: Juggling Work, Family, And IVF Costs
Hi everyone! I need a suggesstion from you guys. It is purely professional thing I want to share..I am a 34 yr old female, with a experience of almost 10 years in IT. My background is software testing. As I cannot grow in this domain any more in this competitive market, learning skills everyday and applying it, seems an impossible task for me, along with all the household work which I need to manage for my family. I dont have parents, so no support from that part. I have Switched companies, still barely got any significant hikes! In this situation a AI courses even costs higher. It seems to be an end for my career. I have to plan IVF as well in between. For that also I need money, my husband stays away, we both stay in different cities for earning. It feels I am going into extreme darkness. Please advice me something so that I can survive IT atleast for another 10 years.

You can still excel in QA if you get skilled in right tools and application. Get trained in a ERP track may be in P2P, R2R or I2C in Oracle Fusion or SAP so that your career will be safe until these application exist and then also learn automation testing using selenium or playwright. Also with rise in AI, get hold of some MCP framework which can execute the test cases using NLP, also up skill in using AI in generating baseline test cases using smart prompts. Try for a product based company and you can have work life balance and handsome package as well.

Go for any low code AI tool and you can move to in QA automation

Get subscription of Curser or KIRO ai tool. On just prompt you should be able to automate anything.
