M25| Chennai I’m a cost accountant (CMA) working as a financial analyst in IT sector. I’m writing this to ask HR professionals on why they ghost candidates despite giving 100%. For the last 6 months im trying to shift my job, specifically looking into manufacturing sectors. Recently I got interview opportunity from 3 leading manufacturing companies based out Chennai. I really did the interview well in all the 3 companies i.e cleared every level. Out of 3, 2 companies asked every single document that i hold for verification, despite clearing the interview and providing all the documents the HR people are ghosting me and not providing an update on my candidature. Isn’t it a basic professional courtesy to atleast convey the results? I don’t mind getting rejected, but atleast I should know what is happening and what went wrong, without knowing that how I’m i supposed to improve myself? DISAPPOINTED!!!!

It is implied that you are not selected. Perhaps, you should move on.

Human resources are not bound to answer if the candidate is not selected .. that's the norm..

Hi ,need suggestion for CMA studying. Pls comment

It is like that only . They deal with 100s of candidates and updates daily and it is almost never updated to the candidate if rejected . It’s when we look at it from an individual perspective we feel we need an update . However practically it’s never done by these HRs
