Hi Folks, Need your guidance and suggestions. I am working in **S for last 9 years. I am originally from Kolkata. Most of my **S tenure I have spent in onsite(4.5+) and at client site(entire period). Now I want to settle in Kolkata. But I have never worked from Kolkata also my indian CTC is just 13 LPA. I have worked with Java, Microservices, different DBs,Devops tools(as much required for a developer). I can handle Angular and React( maybe not as full fledged FE dev). Have POC knowledge of working with MCP, RAG(so can pickup AI related integration/ enhancement ). On functional side have working knowledge of capital market, trade finance, general banking . I am ready to learn, as and when new things are required. Regarding my financial situation: I have around 2cr liquid net worth( including mf, share, pf, ppf and other fixed incomes). I have an existing home loan of around 15 lakhs remaining. Also for other future plans might need around 10lakhs loan in near future. My wife is also working and gets around 19 LPA. So, we are not much into financial constraints as of now. Do you think I should switch from tcs kolkata and if so how much should I expect , considering 1. I am getting wfh in my project. 2. My current project is support based but chances of moving to development of the same project in next few years(but the development will be mostly on a trading product , which I already have some knowledge of, so not sure how much new learning will happen) 3. Got A bands last 2 years, and will get same on all possibilities if I stay in this project. 4. My learning progress from the project has already reached it’s limit. 5. Moving again to onsite(West European country) is not difficult if situation arrives. 6. Has great dependencies both with client and with TCS in project and bit difficult to replace within 6 months (so movement to internal pure development project also bit difficult).
