Need Advice Regarding Corporate Insurance Claim Issue During Resignation Hi everyone, Posting this on behalf of my friend because he is extremely stressed and scared right now. He works in a large IT company in India and is currently serving his notice period. Recently, the corporate/legal HR team contacted him regarding a medical insurance reimbursement claim issue. The amount involved was not very huge (around ₹30k), and he has already expressed willingness to repay/cooperate completely if required. This was apparently the first such mistake/problem in his career, and now he is worried about. The company has not yet confirmed any final action, but HR/legal had one discussion with him. Also he having a large amount of personal loan pls advise guys.

The insurance is valid till last working day and gets nullified after that. Any claim made before the last working day has to be reimbursed by the corporate insurance company as per there norms depending on the policy

If it's a genuine claim then there should be any issue. The health insurance is valid till last working day.

All employees are employees of the organisation till the last working day. HR has no business in raising concern on why claim was raised
