Submit Confession
Gender: Female25 June 2026 at 10:46 pm

#C27619 Hello 39 F, I have a confession to make. Before marriage, I used to live in a small town. After marriage, I moved to a big city, and honestly, I have always loved big city life. I adapted so well and lived beautifully there. A big city has everything—quality education, great exposure, healthy competition, and endless opportunities. There is so much to explore. It makes you feel like you have a purpose in life, and every day brings a new task that keeps life interesting. But now, 14 years after marriage, I am back in a small town. Everything here is so limited. After a while, it just feels boring. You have to adjust and compromise with whatever is available. There are no new challenges or tasks left. Life has started feeling dull, heavy, and like a burden. I don't feel at home here at all, and sometimes, I just feel like running away from it all..."

I don't know how you can say that... I've always lived in the city... It's filled with fast paced jokers in a rat race, liars, scums and basically people who are trying to rip you off... It's congested, air is filled with smog, hopelessly crowded, there's no point of solitude... Believe me I'll trade city life anyday to live in some remote village area and grow my own crops... But guess it's a subjective opinion. So advice is please don't shy away from your roots... The points you're making seem fair... But look on the brighter side of things... Cause there's so many I can list here my comment will be bigger than your confession... Don't do an apple to apple comparison both areas have it's own pros and cons... Focus on the pros of country life and you'll see it's a Dream.. 🙂

If you need competition & ruthless existence, and dying prematurely or unnaturally, you go to big city Small city - or village life, is for ppl who can feel successfull, despite not being a part of the rat race, who can feel success in the natural & simpler way , not by materialistic parameters/yardsticks/bank balance, alone . Go back to City if you hv still hv lot to run about for & want to get exhausted from life. But you allready seem exhausted....na ghar ka na...😶‍🌫️

It's understandable, you have to live with family member, adjust with them, can't have an affair with neighbour while your husband is at office. You have my full sympathies.

Aunty... This is not confession, this is a topic of gossip with your neighbor aunty. Next time add masala like you saw a good built farm labor here etc. etc.

Try to be content in life am sure your influenced by your friends or social media. Put your family before yourself and move forward seem you got acustommed to the high life in a major city. Just kool down and be humble. Cheers no hard feeling just an advice.

Thats called peace. Not boring.

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 10:00 pm

I thought- in confession, you start liking someone who have kids and all... but this is so boring🤪 The confessions of this page have made a different kind of perception in my mind and you've broken that stereotype 🤣

Take up a hobby- Maybe teaching in a school to students of 10th class or lower. Greatly expands your horizon and improves patience and helps you in understanding the current generation. And since you're educated, might as well talk about technology and stuff with the kids because if not you, who else can help them grow?

And many have same feeling. Once you move to a city from your township there is almost no turning back. You dont feel it like home anymore.

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 9:41 pm

Albeit boring, but healthier , with quiet and peace !

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 9:43 pm

Cosy of living is less.. you can save more and be healthy. Take occasional trips to big cities and develop hobbies

Anonymous30 June 2026 at 8:18 am

Darling try to adjust in life, you will be happy otherwise everyday will be like a burden...

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 8:18 pm

Actually aging is difficult as such. How long have you have to live there? May be try some vacations?

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 9:36 pm

Get an interesting hobby, maybe form a women's club with other bored house wives and have outdoor activities. Try your hand at social media. I think it's time you do something to make your life more interesting.

Because of my job, I'm currently living in a metro city with my family, but I come from a small village. Now, I want to return and settle in my village. I'm done with the hectic city life, endless traffic, and pollution..
