Submit Confession
Gender: Female24 June 2026 at 7:01 pm

#C27609 Hi. I am (F31). Anonymous Confession I don't know where else to share this, so I'm writing here. I have been married for 10 years and am a mother of two children—an 8-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. During my second pregnancy, I had to leave my job because my workplace did not provide maternity leave. I thought I would be able to find work again later, but things have not gone as planned. My husband used to work in a private company, but due to his health problems he had to take frequent leave. Eventually, he was asked to leave his job. He is now working as a delivery agent, but the income is very low and barely covers our basic needs. To make things harder, my husband suffers from severe gout and high uric acid. His hands and feet often become swollen and painful, and he is undergoing treatment. Seeing him struggle every day breaks my heart. I spend every day searching for jobs, sending applications, and hoping for a call that never comes. Our household expenses keep increasing, and my son's school fees have piled up. Next year, I will also have to enroll my daughter in school. As a mother, I feel ashamed and helpless that I cannot provide even basic education for my children right now. Some days I feel completely exhausted and lost. I worry constantly about our future and wonder how we will manage. I am not asking for sympathy—just needed a place to vent because I have been carrying all of this silently for a long time. If anyone has gone through a similar situation and found a way forward, I would appreciate your advice and prayers. Thank you for reading.

If you're reading this, there are a few things you can do. 1. Tutoring, 2. English reading classes 3. Phonics classes 4. Shadow teacher 5. Emotional listener for apps in Google play store. 6. Hindi reading classes 7. Essay/paragraph writing classes These cost nothing and initially you might not get much. But you can use these as a starting point.

1. You must be ashamed, everyone who brings a baby into the world irresponsibly without financial stability and good health must be ashamed of themselves infinitely till the end of time. 2. Change the way you are applying for jobs. Enhance your CV and make it demonstrable achievement-focused with data instead of just listing job responsibilities. You can also ask AI tools to enhance it or for tips. Also make it ATS-friendly: no tables, images, etc. 3. Don't mention in the CV that you are on a career break. Just keep your last job's beginning date, not ending. The first target is getting a call and you can make a great impression there on (and you can always say the CV wasn't updated if specifically countered on that). 4. Don't say you lost your job due to pregnancy (hard to believe). Say there were mass layofss die to bad business/AI impact and your pregnancy was already in advanced stage, so you didn't apply then to avoid giving trouble to both yourself and the new employer. 5. Apply via non-mainsrream platforms too like Remotely, WeWorkRemote, etc. (there are many such platforms). 6. In the meantime, apply for freelance work if relevant to your job. You can apply via freelance platforms like Upwork, etc. 7. These days some companies are paying for video recordings of household chores etc for AI training purposes. Look out for them as a cushion until you find a job. 8. I don't know what your educational background/aptitude is or I could have been able to help in a more concrete way.

Don't give up. You will definitely get a job if you have prior experience. Keep sending applications, keep trying. And you will get that call.

Why don’t you start a cloud kitchen on Swiggy and Zomato if you’re good at cooking? In a couple of months you’ll see profits if you’re good

Education levels and location are not mentioned in the post for either the confessor or husband. Also what were the previous jobs of both people is not mentioned. So it is a little difficult to guide what kind of jobs both can do. If husband has health issues he should look for WFH jobs; freelance jobs; home tuitions. I am not sure what kind of company was the confessor working which did not give maternity leave. Because as per the guidelines set by Indian govt every company has to give 3-6 months of maternity leaves

You can start your own tiffin service. It will take time but with dedication there can be success. Also, enroll your children in govt. schools. Education cost will come down.

It must be challenging for you and your husband is also going through all this so it can disturb anyone. What I suggest to you is please try giving tuition to the kids in your area. I heard people earn a lot just by giving tution and you are well educated so you can do it as long as you don't get a suitable job for yourself. I wish your husband a speedy recovery so he can find a better job for himself. I feel pain every time I see any family going through all this needlessly. I hope everything will be alright and you will fulfill all the needs of your kids. You are a great mother and trust me, God will take care of everything. Just don't give up and keep trying your best.. May mata Rani help you find a job soon. You will be happily posting one day that everything has been sorted out. My best wishes are with you. Stay positive ma'am. You are one of the most promising wives ever so just believe in yourself and everything will fall for you. Good luck..

Why always posters assume others have gone through the problems they are experience. Even if more than one person encounter same situation. Remedy or what helped them overcome will not be the same. Seek God's help, grace and direction to overcome

Be strong There are challenges in life but there are solutions too Which city do you live?

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 12:43 am

Why don’t you put your children in government school or semi private schools ? Now the government schools too have good education, in my city , they are one of the best and I’m sure in other cities too there would be good government schools , meanwhile keep looking for a job , or you can even join a domestic call Center , they pay decently plus you’d get transportation too .

Gout.. drink lots of lemon water, 2 to 3 litres.. Lemon is good for gout. It contains citric acid and vitamin C, which help neutralize uric acid in the blood and encourage your kidneys to flush excess uric acid from the body. How Lemon Helps GoutUric Acid Reduction: Lemons stimulate the release of calcium carbonate in the body, an alkaline substance that breaks down and neutralizes uric acid.Urine Alkalization: Citric acid helps make urine more alkaline, preventing uric acid crystals from forming in the joints.

Tell your location and profile in next confession and people capable of finding you job will surely help you. No one should be unable to pay their child’s school fees. We are in better time than those.

Anonymous28 June 2026 at 11:33 pm

Hope u get job soon. Take care

Anonymous29 June 2026 at 12:03 am

You can search for freelance recruitment, it is a very good pay.

Anonymous28 June 2026 at 11:53 pm

Really sorry to hear this, hope you get a job soon... unfortunately this country has nothing much to offer it's citizens especially the educated class who want to work& live with dignity, as the elected clowns have turned this place into a circus where only jokers, liars, scammers, criminals and now a days chapri influencers have a bright future here, but not common people.

Hi. This is my post. I am from Sikkim Gangtok. Our situation became worse after my pregnancy and on top of that my husband's health problems. We never imagined that we could not even give basic education to our children. Here it's hard to get online jobs.
