#C27434 I didn’t travel just to be looked down on. “Cashier only? Waiter only? You have the nerve to apply for manager.” That was the first thing the interviewer said to me. Because of that, I panicked. I couldn’t answer his question right away. Instead of explaining or asking me to repeat myself properly, he stood up and kept pointing at me while saying: “I’m asking you, why can’t you answer?” When I told him about my work experience, he said: “You just got lucky that’s why you got in there.” I traveled wearing formal clothes, carrying the dream of moving up in life. Not to be worshipped. Not to be given special treatment— I just wanted to be given a fair chance. I wasn’t hurt because I failed. I was hurt because my character was judged and put down before they even saw what I was capable of. My question is: Is this really how a final interview for a Management Trainee is supposed to be?

This behaviour shows his personality traits. The good side is you are not joining otherwise after joining you would have been humiliated like this. Don't feel bad, everything happens for a reason. Maybe a better opportunity is there for you. It's easier said than done but trust me people are there to make others feel bad just bcz of inflated ego. You stay strong and simply ignore such noise. May be for the first time you have experienced which is making you anxious, confused and nervous Don't worry I am sharing free Therapy tips. Hope it helps. https://www.steer-u.com/psychological-counselling/free-therapy
