#C27152 Hi Everyone, I’m currently working as an AWS-Snowflake Data Engineer, and I’m looking for job opportunities in the U.K. However, I do not have a visa yet, and I’m unsure about the process of finding jobs that offer visa sponsorship. If I apply directly through LinkedIn or Indeed, will companies consider candidates who require visa sponsorship? How does the sponsorship process usually work for international applicants? I would really appreciate it if anyone could share guidance on the best way to secure a job with visa sponsorship in the U.K. Also, apart from LinkedIn and Indeed, are there any other websites or platforms that are helpful for finding sponsored roles? Thank you in advance for your suggestions and advice!

Mostly UK companies don't sponsor....
Apply directly through LinkedIn. And don't fall for any shady organisation promising sponsored job. Any genuine company wouldn't ask for any money. Once you clear interviews, the employer will file for Certificate of Sponsorship. Once that is secured, they apply for visa. There are two components of visa, one is IHS fee that some employers ask employees to bear (roughly £1000 per year) and then there is processing fee of roughly £800 Once the form is submitted, you go for biometric at a visa centre in India.
